Separating solids from liquids? Whether emulsions, waste water acids or caustic solutions, whether process liquids, cutting oil or alkaline cleaners: POSITECH offers the ideal solution for each application due to its variety of construction materials and the modular structure of the product groups. The Incline Band-Filter System has been designed by POSITECH and – compared with common trough bed filters - permits a much higher quantity of filtration liquid that can flow through. At the same time, less space is required. The engine’s entire width can be used, whereas a long drawing frame makes possible that the sludge dries at its best. POSITECH Incline Band-Filter Systems have already been successfully in use for decades in a variety of industrial sectors. They are made of stainless chromium steel (V2A, model “PTX”) or polypropylene (PP, model “PTF”). Incline Band-Filter Systems are available in two option models: with fleece as the crucial auxiliary material; without fleece (endless band-pass filter). Its modular way of construction makes an individual upgrade very easy, e.g. 'low-pressure/vacuum filtration', 'pressure filtration', etc. The POSITECH Incline Band-Filter’s main features are qualitiy, safety, efficiency, convenience and modularity. As a result, you see a unique Band-Filter System that proves its worth in hundreds of situations every day. The liquid to be filtered is channeled onto a fleece or trough bed, depending on the type of filter system (with or without fleece). The dirt particles are retained on the filter bed. The clarified liquid flows into a designated basin, where it can be drained off either for disposal or for recycling. The residues on the fleece/trough bed are called "filter cake". If the density of this cake perturbs an adequate run-off, it is automatically forwarded to a refuse bin. The procedure takes place continuously and in a fully automated way, while the flowing of the liquid is not interrupted at all. |
