POSITECH Trough Bed Band-Pass Filter Systems have already been successfully in use for decades in a variety of industrial sectors. They are made of stainless chromium steel (V2A, model XBF) or polypropylene (PP, model PXF). The Trough Bed Band-Pass Filter is available with or without fleece (endless filter band). They excel at robustness, high functionality, low maintenance costs and optimal operating reliability.

The liquid to be filtered is channeled onto a fleece or trough bed, depending on the type of filter system (with or without fleece). The dirt particles are retained on the filter bed. The clarified liquid flows into a designated basin, where it can be drained off either for disposal or for recycling. The residues on the fleece/trough bed are called "filter cake". If the density of this cake perturbs an adequate run-off, it is automatically forwarded to a refuse bin. The procedure takes place continuously and in a fully automated way, while the flowing of the liquid is not interrupted at all.
